• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. My 2021 S2S Brake light switch recall done in less than 15 mins - Did they just change the springs? Anyone else had it done?

My 2021 S2S had a recall for its brake light switch and return springs to be replaced. I know that the switch itself is easy to get at, but the wiring plug into the harness is difficult to get to. I made an appointment with my dealer, where I purchased the bike new, a 360 mile round trip, to get the job done. I settled down with a magazine in the waiting room for a long wait when I was called to say that the job was done in less than 15 minutes. Did they just change the springs and not the switch? I suspect they did. Has anyone else had this recall done and how long did it take for comparison, remembering the job was for switch to be replaced and not just the springs.
TIA

I replaced mine before the recall came out. It required removing the large black panel to access the connector. I can't imagine how that can be done in 15 minutes.:unsure::ninja: Unless they spliced the new switch into old wires. If they did that, they are cheating the recall labor time.
