• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New F3-S, looking to improve lights and mirrors

I've just picked up an F3-S, trading up from a RS-S - much better. I do have two issues though. First - the mirrors are just about useless - any suggestions on how to fix this? The up and outs from Custom Dynamics don't list the F3-S as one of the models covered. Also, there's a number of Custom Dynamics lights I'd like to have installed but my local dealer doesn't sound too interested - does anyone know of a dealer in the Northern (or middle) VA area who'd done installs of them?

The F3 Mirrors do move back and forth on the arms and then the mirror itself moves to different angles. Im sure you know that since you had a RS. They work fine for me, I use them but never change lanes without the head turn check anyway.

Tried moving them around, but between my seating position and the extended bars, usually I can't get a view of them. I always turn my head to turn or change lanes but I'd still rather have mirrors for more than legal compliance. I believe I've seen someone with a left side mirror on the bar - I'm not sure how it was done.

What do you mean they move back and forth on the arms?

The Arms that the mirrors are attached to, move foward (towards the rider) and back (away from the rider)
