• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

That's great!! But I'm still learning to use my 20s. I like it a lot. Once I wear out the 20s I'll be ready for the 30k. Thanks.

Wow, Another Sena Upgrade!

Sena is really whipping out the upgrades. Looks like the 30K is the new 20S with much enhanced group networking and also enhanced audio multitasking. But the 20S was the newest and best thing not that many months ago. However, maybe this will work better for those larger groups who have reported having problems with group communications using the 20S.

Me, I'm very happy with my 10S for now. It does everything I need, since I mostly ride solo. And it does it MUCH better than the SMH10 that I had before. But I'm thinking, the way they keep upgrading their stuff, in the next month or so they'll probably come out with a "10K" model.

So they are NOT fixing the group function on the 20s they advertised worked for 8 radios? Now they want me to buy new headsets again when they have not fixed what they already sold?

I LOVE my 20s in pairs but in group mode they are just not stable and usable for long lengths of time. Things have improved a bit since the original firmware and they promised over and over that new firmware to fix the issues was coming. I am still waiting. So now they admit the radios need better hardware to do what they advertised would work on the previous generation.

I really do not think it fair for them to release a NEW product advertised to do what they already charged me for. Is Sena going to take back 6 20S radios at price paid toward the new ones?

They need to fix the 20s. Group use sucks. Lots of popcorn noise and other issues. I will not buy a new model. If they don't fix the 20s I'm done with Sena.

Bravo jcthorne and Jp58!
If you read any of my posts about the 20s you know I agree with 100% of what you said. Every time I called Sena their CS people said they were working on an upgrade to fix group issues, range, noise, etc....yah right!
I think anybody that bought their "great light years ahead 20s units" for group riding and dealing with all the issues won't be rushing to try the 30K. SENA PLEASE FIX OUR RIDING GROUPS [6] 20S UNITS only 7 months old which with limited use we now also have 2 with broken microphones to add to the other issues. Maybe exchange them for the new 30K, or buyback the 20S or discount the 30K. Something! Don't leave us just swinging in the "bluetooth breeze"! If not our group will probably be saying..... BYE,BYE SENA and Good Luck with the 30K's.

No ill will meant toward Motorcycledave.

The 20s and their customer service have been nothing short of a headache. As far as I am concerned they can take their new 30k and stick it in their :cus:
Did you notice that there is no customer service number to reach them at on their website? A shame they can't see the glorious product reviews from this website.
I won't be a beta tester for this piece of junk that they have, without a doubt, rushed to market before it is ready.
Sorry for the rant Dave. You are an honest man and I will buy any other product you sell, but sena is not a company I wish to support. Your customer service is awesome, and they do not deserve you.

Just sayin'............

Maybe they should take the 20s in trade if they can't come up with a fix for them. I would do it if the trade was fair enough. I haven't had mine for a year yet.:yes::yes::yes:

I still wouldn't trade my 10R for anything...except maybe the unit that completely integrated into a Shoei GT Air.
It does everything I need and is light and streamline . I just listen to some tunes and only use the intercom to communicate when to stop or other short bits of info.
I could care less about chatting with a group while riding. 😏

I appreciate the offer but for the moment there is not much you can do. Sena cannot make the 20S work correctly and the new unit is not yet available nor proven yet. No other manufacture has one that will do what the 20S claims either. So for now, we are stuck with three pairs of 20S. They work great in pairs, just not in group mode. A lot of money spent to not get what was paid for and lip service from Sena.

They seriously need to STOP new product development and put the R&D budget toward fixing what they already sold....OR just announce they made a mistake in the design, it will never do what was advertised and agree to take them back toward purchase of the new model when its available.
