• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just installed a sway bar and the change is incredible. Spyder just EATS the turns now. I love it.

My Spyder is idling a bit rough and I have noticeable exhaust popping when I downshift. Next week I am having my dealer install an O2 bypass and a fuel pressure regulator. See what difference it makes.

Can you explain in more detail exactly what the swaybar changed or did? I should probably understand what eats the turns means, but I don't. Does it help lesson the feeling of being thrown off in a turn? Or lesson the amount of lean angle?

Thanks!

I gotta do the swaybar install. Running thru the Gap today and yesterday, the nanny kept coming on in the turns and slowing me down. Do you think the swaybar will reduce some of the nanny's sensing the turns/leaning?

Me? Yepper. That, more leaning and some butt-shifting for the aggressive stuff.

I ride with a bunch of crazy guys (maybe it's rubbing off) and my nanny never speaks to me any more. :clap:

I've been riding sidecars for 30 years. I notice that I ride my Spyder asymmetrically, taking left handers (I'm in Oz, we ride on the left) slower than right handers.:sour:

After 7000km I'm starting to get the hang of cornering the Spyder, but I'm still faster and more stable on my sidecar.

I am interested in fitting a decent sway bar, but not until I feel that I'm being limited by the standard setup more than my own (in)ability.;)

Cheers;

Pogo.
