• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Spyder Owner Seeking Advice - which Tail-Gunner exhaust do you have on your RT?

I don't have the Tailgunner on my Spyder, but I would think you would have to purchase the one specific for the Spyder.

:congrats: :welcome: hiya neighbor :doorag: I believe Tail-Gunner has been mentioned or done before on a few Spyders. Sorry I don’t have a link, hopefully someone will home in.

Regardless of which one you end up with, you're going to get very loud.

Welcome to the forum!

Yep, I live about 30 miles from a fellow spyder rider who has a tailgunner and I can hear him every time he fires up and leaves his house.

30 miles? Man that is one loud Spyder :roflblack:

Yes, 30 miles is an exaggeration. Several of us left a late evening meeting one summer night and the gentleman with the tailgunner on his spyder left the parking lot first. A mile away down a straight highway on a rise in the road, we could see the light from his headlights and hear his tailginner echoing throughout the evening air. No one likes to ride with him when he runs that muffler. I think he rides a 990.

I am enjoying the OEM on our new to me F3-L. My Victory had modified mufflers that I liked. Not too loud, but I still had to wear ear buds for the radio. My riding buddy of years for trips, had an HD with Cobra Long Shots. He rode behind me by request.

:welcome: They got banned in Australia. Now we have Tailblader's, and just reverse into troublemakers. :trike:

The Can-Am Akrapovic silencer is around 22 inches not including the pipe that connects to the catalytic converter. Considering that you need a hanger for the Tailgunner to bolt onto the Spyder and the 90 degree or so bent pipe that connects to the catalytic converter, I'm not sure the universal version will work without doing some additional welding on your own. If you are able to make one work it would be interesting to see a write-up and pictures on what it took to get it to work.

I went ahead and ordered the Tailgunner for my 2021 F3 Limited. As a pilot and huge fan of the A-10 Warthog, I could not resist! I will post pics and a link to a video once it is installed.
