Most likely this is the dealers idea. Using an aftermarket warranty, he gets a better profit margin. If you press the dealer, most likely you can still get a factory warranty thru him.

When I went to purchase extended warranty, my dealer actually was "pushing" the BEST product. I went for a different plan.

The BEST warranty extends beyond the state where you purchased, i.e., if you were to need service in Flarda, BEST would contractually be required to honor.

Florida has very strict laws on what is extended warranty and what is insurance. Since BRP isn't licensed to sell insurance in FL, they have to use an insurance company to front the BEST protection. You will still work through dealers and BRP. BRP has worked out financial details with the FL carrier. Anyone buying in other state will still have the same BEST coverage in FL. Get your Spyder in for service before 4:00 in FL and get the senior discount.

Hummm Hum bug... Dinner Ha..... riding in liquid sunshine.
I was not aware of the senior discount, nor did I see any notice, mail or telephone call from my dealer to such a thing... Oh Well... senior moments again.
