• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Oop's! Look out BRP, Honda has a new 3-wheeler coming out!

But... It has four wheels! 😆 Does it have silver handlebars, or black handlebars? Clearly AI generated. The Honda Neowing concept was a cool 3 wheeler, and the one I'd buy.

My math skills are a bit rusty since I retired and no longer have to use said knowledge regularly. I can still count to three and all the way up to four on a good day.

While that Honda looks super cool, four wheels does not make a trike, no matter who's counting.

I really like the design. I don't like calling a 4 wheeler a trike, it's not. If you listen to the end it tells you the price $58,000 to $65,000. Way out of my price range.

Dune Buggies can be licensed for highway use in Florida. For what one of the factory specials would cost, I could build a nice VW powered dune buggy and get it registered here. Probably build a turbo Porsche powered one for what the 4 wheel wing cost. Even if it has a straddle seat and handlebars, 4 wheels don't make it a motorcycle.

And now I'm thinking I need a Manx VW powered dune buggy... or maybe a Porsche powered version... and a garage expansion to store it!

Here in Arizona, my old Can Am side-by-side was licensed and street legal with a motorcycle plate and insured under my motorcycle policy. And it had 4 wheels. My 4 wheel golf cart is also licensed and insured under my motorcycle policy. Two, three, or four wheels is not the determining factor for vehicle classification, at least not here in this state... I think calling a 4 wheel vehicle a "trike" is not correct. I think "four wheel motorcycle" is probably better. But, I don't think this is a real vehicle anyway. Looks like an AI product from someone's imagination...

About 30 years ago I converted a 2 wheel Harley Sportster into a full custom 3 wheel trike. It was licensed as a two wheel motorcycle before I converted it. The county tag agency just wanted to see it before they would sell me a plate and the plate they sold me was a motorcycle plate. I just rode it up to the tag and tax office, one of the girls working there walked out to the street and took a picture, and they gave me a tag right there. They didn't give me a new title. The old Harley Sportster title was still good. The county tax office said it didn't matter that it had three wheels, it was still a Harley Sportster. Rode it all over the country for 30 years with a Florida tag on it and never even got pulled over or questioned about it.
