I agree with Lamonster. That is slotted for a reason. You need to move it back to get full travel on the brake.

Or install a riser under the pedal pad like The Sealfloorboard.​

We have a ISCI handbrake on our Spyder because I am paraplegic and can't use foot brake. We did move it back a little after Jake drove it home from the dealer just for comfort but we didn't worry too much about it because of our ISCI handbrake.

For safety's sake; please make sure that the foot pedal control for your braking works as designed...
What if somebody was allowed to take a short spin on your Spyder that wasn't aware of needing to use the handbrake... :yikes:

We did move it back a little in case a technician or dealer ever drove the bike and used the foot brake instead of the hand brake but Jake and I use the handbrake all of the time now -- me because I need it and him because he is used a two wheeler.
