• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

P0174 and P1130 Codes. " Occurred" faults

These codes appeared this past weekend. I have had the P0174 multiple times over the years. So I did some investigating. Cleaned throttle bodies, Inspected the Maps sensor hoses, they are silicone and in good shape. Cleaned the hose port on the back cylinder with throttle body cleaner. Removed rear spark plug to check condition, plug had good color, brown. Now I am pretty sure that it is getting enough fuel plus engine is running good. So it leaves me with 2 possible component failure. First and most likely is the purge valve is sticking open or possibly the O2 sensor. P1130 refers to possible O2 sensor failure. Talked with local tech and we agree it is probably the purge valve. Tech gave me a known working purge valve,(free) so I will change it out if error reoccurs. I know I could plug the input to the purge valve, which I might do if used does not work. So I will be testing valves when I have my next fault. As mentioned above engine runs, starts and idles fine. Keep you posted. Bruce
