• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello all

Just wondering if anyone knows the size of the oil access panel (Left front) grommet. after the last oil change i noticed it was breaking down and the panel is lose. Can i pick a grommet up at a hardware store or do i have to go through the hassle of ordering one.

Thanks

Have to agree..!!

:agree: they are available at most hardware stores and autoparts as well. Take one along for sizing...

If someone comes up with a generic grommet that works fine rather than ordering them from BRP, could you post here what you used?

:agree: And when you're picking up one; pick up a whole bunch of them. The rest of those grommets aren't getting any yoounger!

Cable tie them in to prevent loss

I've cable tied all mine when removing various panels. That way they will stay in place and IF you push one out, it will be right there to be put back in! Good luck:thumbup:
