And on those two-wheelers, you've got two dirty great gyroscopic stabilisers - one in front, and one out the back - keeping you upright and the bike basically in line too -
they call them wheels, but we know what they really are... Stabilisers!!
That's what I tell those people bagging trikes as 'old people's rides', then go on to explain that it's why just about
ANYBODY who can stand up straight can ride a two wheeled motorcycle; but it takes
real skill and talent to ride a Trike that tries to tip over whenever you turn the steering; and
especially if it's a reverse trike that tries to throw you off every time you make a turn; and
extra-especially so if said Reverse Trike rider is riding relatively fast &/or in the twisty stuff!!
That takes
REAL skill and talent when you don't have those two dirty great gyroscopic things doing most of the 'stay upright and on the bike' stuff for you! I figure you don't hafta tell them about the Nanny, cos she only helps a
little bit, and is often a bit more of a hindrance than not -
besides, riding relatively fast &/or in the twisty stuff despite the Nanny takes EVEN MORE Real Skill and Talent, duz'n it!
