Why don't the construction contractors build home rest rooms with both a urinal and a comode.
Are they stupid?

Actually about 2% to 3% of homes do have urinals in them. They are mostly up-scale homes with more bathrooms than bedrooms already. There is no reason you could not ask the contractor to put one in your home. It might ease some of the waiting during max rest room use times.

Nah, he's got it wrong!!

A GOOD Committee wouldn't ever "... decide that nothing can be done."

A GOOD Committee would discuss whatever, then appoint a sub-committee or a working group to take it away and workshop the potential outcomes; then come back to the next committee meeting with a range of alternative solutions so that the committee can select their 'preferred options' from that list in order to allow them to appoint and task another sub-committee with reviewing said options; and so on, et cetera, yada yada, ad infinitum...

So it should be clear that a GOOD Committee would NEVER actually DECIDE on anything, or they might lose their sole reason for existing in the first place!!

Just sayin'
