RUST?

For a Spyder that is less than a year old, never seen salt, washed / rinsed weekly, garaged when not ridden, and only seen rain 3 times I was surprised to see the on set of rust when I started taking it apart today.
Are there any other owners battling this over the long haul and should I be concerned.

I dont think its anything to be concerned with other than not being pretty. However, Mine is 3 years old and doesn't look like that. I've been stuck in the rain 2 times and have done maybe 6 or so soap and water washes.

Get a cheap garden sprayer and fill it with vinegar. Spray the rust with the vinegar and it will go away.

Vinegar also kills weeds.

Mixed with olive oil and seasoning, it also makes great salad dressing.

Vinegar is the liquid version of duct tape.

It's also great on fish and chips and does a good job at cleaning our coffee maker!
