• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SCREW/BOLT IN TIRE

Someone does not like me, have a roofing screw/bolt screwed into my tire on the tread ( not sidewall ) . Looking for info from all avenues regarding, will the tire stuff advertised here work or do I need to get a new tire ? Not sure if advertised stuff is different from Canada product. Have not yet gone to tire shop as just noticed tonight. PLEASE HELP. THANKS.

A plug might work but should be used in conjunction with a tubeless tire hot patch on the inside of tire especially on motorcycle tire for safety reasons other alternative is replacing tire, Like Dirty Harry says " Are you feeling lucky..:cus: "...

My wife got a nail in her rear tire early on in our Spyder ownership and we did a temporary fix with the "gummy worm" as Atonic suggests. I don't recall the exact mileage that we noticed the nail nor the exact mileage that we changed her tire out because it was worn down to the wear bars but I'd guess that temporary fix lasted for at least 3,000 miles. The repair was solidly in the flat contact patch area and not near the side. However, an inside patch is a much better repair than a tire plug.

Replace the tire...only true safe way to go...pressure on a bike tire is a little different than on a car...you don't want to have additional issues when you ride and peace of mind is something to consider.

I have Ride-on in my tires...but even they will tell you to replace a tire if you get a hole in it...it's the only true safe fix...
