Slingmods LED headlights only work on low beam - any ideas?

Hello,
I installed the Slingmods LED headlight kit on my 2018 Spyder RTL. The low beams work fine, but the high beams don't work at all. How can that be?
Any ideas?

The mystery is solved. After I installed the LED module in the headlight assembly one at a time, I tested each module by setting it back on the bike where it would be before I bolted the module on. I plugged the cables in and each one worked perfectly.

Here's the weird part. There was a little dirt around the headlight modules in places that are hard to get at with the headlights installed. So I unplugged both of them and set them on my bench and cleaned the modules. I set them in place again and before I bolted them in I decided to check them one more time. Now the low beams worked fine but the high beams would not work!

I couldn't figure out why the high beams would not work. Since they worked fine before, I decided to check to make sure the power to the modules in high beam was there. I unplugged the power connector on one of them and there was no power to the module when the high beams turned on.

At that point I reasoned that the problem was probably not in the headlight modules, but something else. So I might as well bolt them in so there would be less chance of them getting damaged. Well, that is when I found the problem. I had set the headlight modules in the opposite position and plugged them in for the test. But each of them was plugged into the connector for the opposite headlight module!

Evidently, the computer didn't like that and wouldn't run the high beams. Once I put them in their correct positions, they worked fine. Why the low beams work and the high beams don't when the modules are switched, I have no idea. But Praise the Lord they are working now!

That's all for now. At least until I make another silly mistake.
Blessings to you all,
Gridley
