• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Went to the Dr an rode the bike.. When I came out an start to leave the whole screen turned orange an said check engine... There was also a orange light right above the oil light on the tach side that was on... I check the oil an everything was good so I went ahead an rode home.. The trip odometer kept flashing orange with the engine sym in it.. Engine temp was right int he middle an the digital temp on the dash was reading 114 degree outside temp.. (might have had something to do with it) Anyone have any suggestion before I talk to my dealer??

Oh.. Guess I should add that it is a 2011 Rt audio an conv SM5..

Might have been high input air temp. On mine the light above the oil pressure light is low fuel but that's on a 2011 RT. Did you check your codes?

How do you check them?? Now that you mention that about the fuel light I remember that.. I know for sure that the fuel wasnt low....

Sounds like high intake air temp to me, too...or maybe high water temp when you first started after sitting. I would not worry about it if it clears overnight. If it does not, pull up the specific failure code(s). Simultaneuosly push Mode - SET - Turn SIGNAL CANCEL.

Ok.. Went out thsi morning an turned key on.. After booting I hit the MODE/SET buttons together an pushed the turn signal canceal button at the same time.. The screen went blank.. Nothing showed up so I assume that there was no fault cades in the system???

I would bet money that it was high intake air temp. This year a lot of the country is experiencing the high temperatures that we experienced here in west Texas last year. In my experience the problem usually occurs when the Spyder is started after sitting in high temperatures and normally clears itself just by riding it enough to get pretty good air flow under the bike. Although it's never been a serious issue for me, BRP should probably look at increasing the temperature which brings on the situation.

Only active faults show. You need to do it when you are experiencing the problem.
