• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

take off shocks

Ordered take off shocks from Len today. looking forward to updating our 2010 RTS shocks.

I installed 2011's on my 2010 RTS not long ago. You won't be dissapointed with the result as it is a good upgrade. If I were a more sporting rider pushing the limits of the RT I probally would spring for the Elka's. For my riding style the '11 upgrades are very worthwhile. I do run loaded most of the time so I keep them noched up to the 4th setting(I think). Enjoy.

After the huge number of Elka RT shocks sold at SpyderFest, there must be a big pile of "takeoff" 2011 & 2012 Rt shocks somewhere so the price should be very cheap now, buying them from a dealer has to be the costliest approach.

I replaced the shocks on a 2010 RT with 2011 shocks and yes they are much better, but the Elkas are a whole new world in performance.

I think cowtown is shipping take for $150, I have a set with 3000 miles on them I will sell for 100 + shipping. I was told it would cost about $25 to ship but I would check and if more I would lower the price to suit.

I added a set of 2011 take offs to my 2008 gs, and honestly can't tell much of a difference. I have mine set on 3...maybe I should set it to 4 or 5.

I was wondering where all of those take off shocks from Elka installations at Spyderfest were going to end up. Glad these were recycled to other Spyder Ryders rather than filling a landfill site.
