About keeping the whole mess properly timed; could you just Mark where the gears engage with something, and then line that back up when putting things back together?

Now that you have been that far into it is it possible to remove the part on the right or is is molded to the hex shaft.The question remains can you get the arm off?JT

I don't have that answer, sorry. When I took it apart, I was just trying to get a temporary fix in place while I awaited the shop to get the new assembly approved under warranty and then ordered and recieved. I'll look thru some more pics that I took to see if any show more clearly if there were any set screws on the right side, but I don't recall seeing any. And now that we have our new one in place, I'm not going to tempt fate and take this one apart ................... that is, until it breaks again .................... :sour:
