Throttle blip when stopping

I just recently purchased a 2013 RTS. As I am coming to a stop I am fully off the throttle but the engine will give me a couple of short blips like a quick throttle rev before I come to a complete stop. It will idle fine, no creep, lurching or any other issues once it comes to a full stop. Is this typical or is it time for a trip to the dealer?

Sounds like its just downshifting; they do give a snort with increased rpm's as the downshift occurs.

Thanks. That makes sense now that I think about it. I'll watch my gear indicator next time I'm out riding and see if it corresponds to the little blip.
