• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Throttle Body Service Bulletin

Just had ( or thought I Had ) this service bulletin as well as the new parking brake spring installed . It was my understanding that after shutting the Spyder down the throttle bodies where held open for about 40-45 minutes allowing for a hot start . Anyone know what this service bulletin did ? Did it change the length of time the throttle bodies where held open ? Took the better part of the day off to get these service bulletins performed and I just finished doing an oil change and timed the throttle bodies being held open and it was 40 plus minutes. I hope my dealer isn't playing games with me because the invoice he gave me said the Throttle body service was performed and I'm sure as heck they are going to bill BRP for the work they did or didn't do .

Actually they are held close for 40 min. I think they changed the degree of how closed with the update.

You're absolutely right Lamont! (again). The time lapse is the same. It's the angle that has been minimized in such a way to relieve the stress on a spring of some sort. Gee that's all I can remember for now. I have a good memory,,, it's just very short. I wish I could remember what it is that they changed on my parking brake. I know it's a spring of some sort. Friends of mine have had the parking brake problem more than once. I have never had any problems of that nature so I didn't pay much attention I have to admit!!!
