A cheaper way to achieve the same goal is to buy a cheap ball and saw the threaded stud off. Just place it into the trailer coupler and place a lock on it. :thumbup:

When traveling, or when at home sitting under the carport, I use a Gorilla Trailer Coupler Lock....PLUS lock down the "latch" Check out this link:

Using the Gorilla, it's virtually impossible to hook it up and drive it away. It fits right over the end where you insert the ball. Rock solid security! hyea::yes:

Unless you have a couple of bruisers and pick it up and load on to truck or big a... trailer.
