TricLED Sequential LED Turn Signals & Running Lights - Anyone else having issues??

I think part of the problem is none of the companies selling these are in a position to demand improvements or changes from their suppliers. Suppliers overseas have been known to ignore or just not follow policy or protocol.

The company I work for has requirements, policies and legal contracts with our OEM partners that hold everyone accountable. We do first article inspections and routinely meet with OEM suppliers to discuss warranty and improvements. We throw a lot of money their way and if they wish to do business they will comply and make corrections as requested. We also guarantee them "X" years of sales of the equipment and exclusive rights for replacement parts etc.

My point is SlingMods, TricLED, or any of these companies that rely on offshore manufacturing are not in this same position to demand or turn away sales or product. I'm sure they forward issues and concerns but I don't think they can effectively hold suppliers accountable and are at their mercy when corrections are released.

Interesting tidbit about the rebranding of product. This then really makes it harder to tell who has a better product.

I was told that the new version has changed and that the show Chrome version is now the new tricled version but that is not confirmed. I was told look at the front lens of showchrome sequential and you will see tric led emblem very small. I was also told that show chrome is purchasing a lot of their stuff like the vaider/Michael knight/ kit kit from tricled and branding them as show chrome. I have the vaider/ Michael knight/ Kitt led also and it has been flawless. So is the tricled sequential the same as showchrome that lamonster and spyderpops sells the same as the new tricled I don’t know for sure but was told they are now the same. You’d have to look at the front corner and see if it says tric led.

I don't think this is true. I just got a set of the Show Chrome Slayer from Lamonster and it has the Show Chrome part number etched in the lens. I also have the Tricled HiViz mirror lights and they have Tricled etched in the lens. I was pretty sure Tricled either had their own manufacturing facility in China or was using the same one for a very long time with some sort of partnership. In general I like the Tricled products and on the old bike the original FenderZ were flawless since 2016 but these issues scared me away from them in favor of the Show Chrome's. I did have issues with several of the TricLed flexible tube LEDs where a few on them went out but I never bothered replacing them. Having good customer service is great but I rather have a product that works long terms and doesn't need great service and replacement. The labor, either doing it yourself or worse having to pay someone again and again is just not worth it if there is a more reliable product. I really wish all Tric products were super reliable, I just don't see them rebranding them for others.

I bought mine in November 2021. They lasted about 2 years before some of the lights went out and others are flickering. I know there were posts about this a couple of years ago - just wondering if anyone else is having this issue and what did you do? I want to get these fixed - but don't want to spend good money on a bad product again.

Any thoughts?

I think your good to go, they have had plenty of time to get their act together from the time this post was started!

Has not been our experience. MUCH better customer service from Lamonster Garage and Spyderpops.

Still failing. Get the Show Chrome ones from Spyderpops.

I bought Sequential Fender LED 's ( Amber/Red) with a safety Reflector, back in May of 2023., I have not had any problems with mine.

I have a 2023 F3 LTD SS.

Fast forward from my 2019 F3S to my 2022 RT S2S, I now have Show Chrome fender lights installed on it. That said, TricLED has ALWAYS come thru for me with any issues I have had. I still run some TricLED products on my S2S.

I think the circuit boards and LEDs are fine it is just the housing that lets water in. I stupidly installed my first red one on the wrong side and had to peal it off the case came apart. I was able to put it back together and plastic welded the halves together and water proofed it and have had no issues. But then I have only had them less than a year.
