• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Were you snowed in...

And if so, what did you do with your time? We had a dusting here. Most snow we've had in about four years. Cold though. I worked outside a little while. We actually had icicles on the birdfeeders. My sister said it was snowing heavy in Pa. when I talked to her last night.

Happily--no snow in the great North. We have an 80% chance of rain today and tomorrow. Then partly sunny through the weekend. And, we are in the low 40's--above zero. The snow is slowly melting.

We are just at about 6 hours of blizzard conditions. So there was no going to work today. Second blizzard day this winter and it's been a decade since we had a blizzard, I think. So we Canadians get the blame for sending down the cold air, but the US is quite generous in sending storms up our way, along the eastern seaboard;) Didn't do the snow blowing yet, still windy. Got caught up on some paperwork, caught up on Spyderlovers but didn't do much else today. About a foot down so far, light stuff.

we got

between 8 and 10 inches so b4 i could get up today to get the snow blower out one of my neighbors got out there b4 me and did all of mine. so when i went to go out all i had to do was to clean the back yard for my dogs and when i let them out they went right into the deep snow where i piled it. than i went out to get breakfast and the roads were not bad at all

A Quarter on a lousy inch of snow... :gaah: The newsliars were screaming that we would all be dead by now...
.. And I STILL had to get up, and go to work! :banghead:

AK, all the cold air is headed our way. It's going to be warmer in Anchorage than in Atlanta. And they are calling for colder air here next week.

10 inches of snow in the last 4 days. Not much at all for us. When we do get it, for fun we shovel, plow, and snow blow. Opened the sled trails, thou I wouldn't sled on them, not quite enough snow.

Spyder3, my wife was getting pictures on Facebook from the man that lives in the house she grew up in in Groveville. Lots of snow. Did I ever tell you her brother pastored the Broad Street UMC in Burlington?

Getting up and going to work in your case is the same thing, you get up and you are at the office and the (Missus) boss is already there. You ain't getting no sympathy from this end. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
