• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What are you all using for Phone Holders on the handle-bars?

What are you using for a phone holder on the handlebar? Right now I have the X-Grip from Ram. I see they now have an adjustable rigid mount. Is that more secure? :dontknow: TIA  Tom :spyder:

LaMonster cuff and Phone Phang. Although I recently bolted a ram ball to the handlebar clamp and have the Phone Phang there now.

on the handlebar phone holder

I'm using a ram ball attached to a Quad Lock for over 70K without any incidents of detachment nor damage to my phone. I'm using the cheaper non cushioned Quad Lock, the up scale cushioned wasn't available when I started using it, no problems with phone.

Track form/ramball center handlebar mount from Motorcycle Dave. Otter Box case also.

I copied and pasted the above as I was to lazy to type it all out, so I figured RapidSpyder has exactly what I have so why not copy and paste.

I did not steal his photo as that would be wrong.

Wow that was a lot of useless typing.

Lol :roflblack:

The Can-Am Center Mount/Short Reach from Motorcycle Dave's, which attaches to the center mount of the handlebars in lieu of one of the four bolts that holds that center mount works outstandingly for me. I have real confidence in this all steel phone holder and use it every time I ride my 2021 RT. Its the middle one shown in Post #9 of this thread. It comes with a rubber extra that can be put over the four corners of the phone, just for extra safety, but I never feel the need for using that. The basic steel holder is rock solid for my Iphone 13.

I use Lamonster's Spyder Cuff, a Ram Ball and phone mount. The phone mount is adjustable to fit your phone.

:congrats: All of you that found something that works for you  personally, I prefer leaving my phone in my pocket. Bluetooth to headset np - Zumo 660GPS is on the bars (try only look at when/if needed) bars otherwise bare except for a few event wrist bands collected.

Like poster #12, I use a Quad-Lock setup but with vibration dampener and QI wireless charger. You have to purchase a phone specific case but I can secure my phone (S23 Ultra) on my bike, car, and anything/anywhere else I have a matching mount.

RAM Mounts RAM-HOL-UN10BU X-Grip Large Phone Holder - It holds my Galaxy S23 Ultra with a gorilla case.

I've used X-Grip since about 2007 on my wing and it held even some massive bumps and dips through the years and many phones and holders.

I have a 22 RTL. I use a Lamonster top cuff on the LH bar with a 1" RAM ball mount, then a 4" RAM clamp and then a RAM phone holder.
