• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

We just got home from a 1600 mile trip up to Rocky Mountain Natl Park, then down to Taos to visit the Vietnam Memorial. Dropped down to Socorro, NM and came home across the rim. Might be one of the worst trips we have taken. Everything from freezing rain and hail, temps over 100, and road construction everywhere.

But it was 'a trip', and you were out there doing something, weren't you?!!

I often tell people who express amazement (or horror!) at the weather & other conditions that I am out riding in, that I live by this 'Rule':

"The absofreakinlutely WORST day riding still beats any day at work; and generally beats just about any other day as well!" 😁

(I will, however, admit that there are just a couple of exceptions to that 'Rule'; but the Child Bride insists most strenuously that I shouldn't share any info about those days on a public & PG Rated Forum?! 🤫) 😆

Another day or two. Can't wait.
I'll be in that spot in just a couple of weeks. I have some sort of mass in the back of my right arm that is in the muscle tissue, which most likely is just some type of cyst that is being removed. I am going in for surgery and it will require a layer of stitches in the muscle as well as the skin, so I won't be able to do anything strenuous with it for a couple of weeks afterward. I'm glad that I installed that cruise control for my upcoming trip in late September, I'll need it to keep the stress off my arm/muscle on the Highway.

Replaced the plastic Ibolt RAM plate on my Lamonster RAM Ball base with a HD M10 x 1.25 aluminum RAM ball. Simply unscrewed the plastic plate and drilled/tapped for the pictured HD RAM ball. My Garmin Zumo XT2 will not bounce around anymore. At the least, Lamonster should switch their $7 plastic plate base to a $12 aluminum plate base, where the RAM ball has a steel insert.

This statement - TRUTH
"The absofreakinlutely WORST day riding still beats any day at work; and generally beats just about any other day as well!" 😁

Went for a short 60 mile ride. 1st one in 9 days. Right wrist still a tad cranky, but worth the effort. Beautiful out today. Got back to town and topped off with some $5.59 per Gal :( Shell 91 octane.
