• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I have the Insta 360 x5 on mine mounted on the bar with Insta 360 clamp and carbon Fiber stick. I got 2 quick clips so I don’t have to unscrew the thing all the time. Works great, altho there’s some movement when I extend the stick, but the video is solid.

Which bar? I started to mount our x5 on the Pillion hand grip bars, but the rubber coating there doesn't make me feel confident that the camera won't be moving around a lot.

Could use some rain here in Dane County to get the salt/crap off the road...
We had that here in NS a couple of days ago, the roads were actually nice and clean, very little snow left, but in the woods and some spots on the shoulders. Looked outside tonight a couple of hours ago and what went by but a salt truck just peppering the wet roads. Calling for a couple of cm tonight overnight, and then cold for the remainder of the week. :(

Here in Nor-Cal the wx's been pretty good. Started out with 59°F and 75° at the Southern end of a 150 mile ride. I only saw 8 bikes, mostly Sportbikes.
There were lots of tourists along Highway 101 (the Redwood Hwy), also through the Avenue of the Giants that skirts 101, and that section was part of the original Hwy 101.

88 degrees here in my part of NC on Saturday. Rode 135 miles in a group of 5 Spyders and about 12 Slingshots. I met them in Durham and we took back roads to Bay Breeze Seafood in Sanford. I decided to do my own thing for the ride home and had a spirited ride down 42 to Fuquay Varina and then back home. My intention was to get a few miles in on Sunday also. Instead, I drove the convertible to church and visited with family. After getting home, I just relaxed on the couch the rest of the day. I actually felt kinda guilty for wasting such a beautiful day, but I guess I needed that recharge.

The Handlebar, on the left side. I can raise and lower it at will. It might look funny up there but will capture my travelling companions on a group ride.
