• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is the "Lamonster cut" on a Corbin seat?

This is where it started. It's dished out more like a tractor seat. Corbin sells more of these than the standard seat so he decided it would be a good idea to brand the seat with "Lamonster"

You got it covered from "The Man" himself. There are lot of them out there and they like the modification to the seat.

I've got one

I've got the heated Lamonster Cut on my 2012 RT Limited. Before the new seat, I couldn't ride 3 hours without being in pain in my hip. Now, I can ride 9+ hours :ohyea::ohyea: and still don't feel like getting off the bike. It's made my Spyder like a whole new ride!:clap::clap:

I'll never ride a standard seat again. :)

Question(s): Does that cut put you down lower into the saddle? Does your ride height change? :dontknow:

I'm curious about that to, bring 6'4" I want more leg room but without getting higher. I had one Corbin seat that was dubbed "tall man" and it gave me incredible amount of leg room but was way up over the windshield. Can somebody post a full pic of their "Lamonster cut" seat so we could sorta see the difference.

I cant show you a picture but I can tell you that I have tried both seats. I had the reg corbin seat on my RT and liked it very much. I got a new 2011 RS for my wife see wanted the corbin seat also but she bought it at Bikefest and it was already made so she couldn't get the Lamont cut, I traded my 2010 RT in on a new 2013 ST and had the lamonster seat order for it and yes it does put you a little lower, I don't think pictures will show you the difference. You need to find someone that has one and sit on it yourself you will definitely feel the difference. I have around 5,000 miles on it and I love the Lamont cut a lot more. Oh I'm 6'2 245 lbs.
