• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What saddlebags are these ?

I just acquired my first Spyder RS-S online, and upon its arrival I discovered that there are no keys for the saddlebags ! I suspect that they are either GIVI or SHAD bags but can find no markings to indicate which they are. I'm resigned to drilling them out, but where do I get the proper replacements ? I'm sure this is the place to ask the questions. Thanks for any and all replies ! BobRS-S-1.jpg

Looks like the Givi bags on mine 0E27B4DF-363B-466C-9567-5649ECBDC92A.jpeg namely the location of reflector. A dealer might be able to acquire key from the vin#:dontknow: careful before you drill:lecturef_smilie: because the lock has a dual mechanics allowing it to open or remove the bag.

Those are Givi bags. Based on the signal light extensions they are the BRP accessory kit ones.

Also did you get the Givi tool to remove the bag mounting frames. It has a triangle shaped end on it. If not you will need to get that as well. The frames have to come off for some repairs and maintenance. For example. If that is a 2012 or older. The left frame has to come off to r&r the battery.

I knew I came to the right place ! BFromla identified the bags [which I soon found to be the V-35 model] and billybovine alerted me to a special tool. It would be really irritating to find out about that tool when I am sitting with a bad battery and no way to access it ! I have located a North Carolina GIVI dealer who advertises lock sets and accessories, so I should be solid from here on. Thanks for the help. I hope I can return the favor once I acquire more Spyder knowledge. Cheers !! Bob

That is why I removed the battery from under the seat and put it up front where it should have been in the first place,
you must remove all the frame if you want to replace burned out tail light bulbs.
