• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

you wonder why people do things like this

 When I first saw this video: I figured that the diver was pretty safe from shark bites...
There was no room in the cage for the shark to latch onto anything. It would have been like sword-fighting in a broom closet.

But that didn't mean that it could pound him to death against the walls of the cage, while it was thrashing about! :yikes:

Crazy....!!!

I know it's a thing to do but I thought he was a gonner the way that fish was thrashing about. Know that biting him was out of the question but that is a small space for the two of them. Gotta say he got to be close and personal with the shark, which is what he wanted, and really lucky he did not become is dinner...

Don't believe the shark couldn't have 'bitten' him!! :yikes:
They can pretty much turn in their own length & are far stronger than you realise!! All it needed to do was open its jaws at the right moment & he woulda been mincemeat!! :yikes::yikes:

When sharks open their jaws, the 'gape' of opening forces their teeth forwards & sorta 'out'; but the moment any one of those teeth snags on anything, all the ligaments & tendons & muscles in pretty much the whole sharks body slam those jaws shut with metal & bone crushing force, at the same time pulling the teeth in & dragging them back & down so you can't pull anything out without shredding it!! And depending on the species of shark, each single tooth can be razor sharp & serrated like a buzz saw blade - and they've got hundreds of teeth in there!!! The shark can't help it or stop it - mouth opens, teeth roll forwards & present; then if any tooth gets snagged SLAM, the jaw shuts & rips the crap outta anything that gets caught!! That's why you step wide of any shark with its jaw spread, even a 'dead' shark lying on the dock!! Heck, even a set of jaws hacked outta the sharks body can still do it if the right tendons etc haven't been cut off!! Just brushing past the teeth can be enough to cut you, only it's almost impossible to touch just one tooth, there are so many in there & they are sooo close together & presented/jutting out when the jaws are open; but then you hafta contend with the bear trap SLAM that happens as the jaw shuts with thousands of pounds of point load force on hundreds of teeth, ripping every tooth that gets a chance straight thru anything it even glances off or brushes by!! If you are lucky enough not to get anything INSIDE the jaws when that happens, a lot of the time people don't realise that the 'brush of air' they felt as the teeth ripped past did actually touch them & shredded them as half a dozen teeth just touched their skin or clothes until the blood starts to run!!

So that guy was EXTREMELY LUCKY to get outta there in one piece without loosing chunks of himself as well as being pounded to mush on the sides of the cage!!

I think they need to re-evaluate how the cages are constructed. Obviously, the space between the bars are too big. That was a small great white, but it can do some good damage.

I bet that diver chummed the water pretty good even with a wet suit on. :D

It's moments like that which make you realise that Adrenaline is Brown!! nojoke

And that little episode scared some pure Adrenaline right outta him!! :opps:

A little above my fun quotient for sure. Think of it this way, human in cage, deadly predator free to do whatever. Recipe for problems. :yikes::yikes:

YOU JUST CAN"T FIX STUPID

You know motorcycle riding is about the most dangerous thing I do, I can not imagine why any one
would climb into a cage under water and dare a big ass shark to eat them.. That also goes for jumping
out of a perfectly good airplane, unless it's on fire and the wings have fallen off.
Ride Safe
Dave
