• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Your Weather News @ October 2026 Edition

Got in a short ride yesterday, it was a little cool (low 60's), but the wind was nasty. Gusts up to and over 50mph.
Chaff and dust from the farmers fields was blowing all over the place.

Turkey Day weekend up here in the North, hope to get in some rides (the bike is filthy, it needs a bath)!

Happy Thanksgiving to all you living in Canada. Enjoy your Holiday weekend.

Welcome to another great weekend of Indiana. Most of the Indiana Farmers are finally finished or near. So far most had a really good harvest yield.

Currently overcast sky at 56°F. All of the yard has dried and turning brown. The trees are dropping leaves like crazy. I guess it is peak time for next 7 days.

Today's high at 77°F with clouds.
Low of 57°F and cloudy sky.
Should make for a good sunset too!
Enjoy your Ryde Times.

Sunday's high is 73°F with clouds.
Low at 54°F and cloudy.
Stay Healthy and Be Happy 😊

Thanks for Looking. (y)

Sunday morning and it's partly cloudy here in the desert. The rain forecast for last night happened, in buckets at times. There's more rain in the forecast for early tomorrow morning. Meanwhile, it's 74 degrees, humidity at 73%, Wind at 10 MPH with gusts to 24. The high today will only get to 83 and the overnight low will be 66 degrees. The energy monster that lives in my utility room (AC) has been turned off for now. But, I suspect it will be needed again in the coming weeks. Stay safe..... Jim

Here in Vermont, it was cloudy and breezy with highs in the 60's. The remnants of Hurricane Isaias will start to bring rain into the Southern part of Vermont by late afternoon and early evening. Rain will continue overnight, before ending around 6 AM (EST) Monday Morning. Computer models continue to push the rain South. Southern areas of the Massachusetts border could get locally 1/2 inch of rain, but the Northern parts, especially the Canadian Border area, will get little to no rain.

Monday will be mostly cloudy, relatively mild, with highs in the upper 50's to mid 60's. Additional rain is likely on Tuesday and Tuesday night. This is due to a slow moving cold front that will actually pull more moisture from Tropical Storm Rachel, which is located in the Pacific. A 1/2 inch or more of rain is likely, so this will be beneficial rain. Some showers could last into Wednesday morning, otherwise the rest of the day will be partly sunny with highs in the upper 40's and mid 50's. Lows will be chilly, in the 30's.

Thursday looks like one of the better days of the week, with mostly sunny skies. Friday and Saturday look more unsettled, with a chance for showers, though models differ with the intensity of that. Highs will be generally in the 50's with lows in the 30's and 40's.
