• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Corbin or Cannonball seat?

I would like to know your experience using these seats. I have a base model with the concrete filled seat:banghead: After 1/2 hour my tailbone and hips ache.

Your profile does not specify which model you drive--but I am guessing F3 since you mention the Cannonball seat.

Corbin seats have a lot of support, and many consider them to be hard. Someone else with have to give you impressions of the Cannonball.

Caution, caution, caution: Seats are very personal and you have to actually see what works best for you. Not an easy proposition because you make a $500 plus expense every time you try a different one.

I have the upgraded Leather seat on the F3. For me its very comfortable but I do notice that my butt sweats a lot because it sits down in that little scoop. Since I have butt to loose no big deal

Someone else on the F3 forum (I believe) did get a Corbin recently, and with pics was showing
the fit along the tank was not all that great. (And as was said, it seems that the Corbins are a
bit denser material and could be less comfortable). I do very much like the seat on the F3S, and
the Cannonball may be deeper.

Just put 400 miles on my new Corbin and I love it!!! Test rode an F3 with a cannonball seat and noticed very little difference from the stock seat, not $900.00 worth for sure. The Corbin at $699 is the way to go. The only drawback I see with the Corbin is that the passenger portion sits way higher than the BRP seats.

That's because there is padding for the passenger. The stock seat has so little you can feel the pan with your finger.

My problem with the extra height is the bike really feels top heavy with a passenger aboard now, Bajaron sway bar coming, also Momma says it's to far to reach the grab bars now.

I know seats are very subjective. I have the base F3 btw with the vinyl seat that belongs on a 75' Honda.

For me, I do like a firm seat that has good all-around support with no pressure points, and is top quality. The passenger seat is less important because I don't have one.

You don't have a passenger?
Or your passenger does not have a seat?
:roflblack:
