There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. What did you do to your Spyder today?

Now that the summer long distance touring season is over, I did some swapping around to put my Spyder into its day riding, sport(ier) mode.

1.) Off with the taller/wider/clear Isotta touring windscreen and on with the dark smoke Gustaffson windscreen.
2.) Off with the Russell Day Long touring seat and back on with the OEM S2S seat. This seat puts me down approx. 2.5" including compression. The OEM seat is plenty good for 200 mile ride days. The RDL seat is good for 500+ mile days.
3.) Off with the top case and on with the rear body colored panel. Storage no longer at a premium.
4.) Off with the driver backrest.
It will stay this way until next summer's touring season.

Did an oil change and wash on the F3, then swapped out the gauge spoiler for my windshield, as I am making a run down 81 before dawn to hopefully get into Maggie Valley before noon. I'll see if it holds up. The cracks were pretty bad and I gave it another coat of paint to have it hold up. It looks like crap and I will bite the cost of replacement next season if it holds up, and get a GP windshield that can use the Blue Ridge mounting hardware.

Due to my procrastination, I screwed up and missed the date for registration, but I was able to score a room right next to the stomping grounds at Travelowe's. Tomorrow will be last minute checks and getting to bed early. I am hoping to be eating breakfast at the new Buckee's on 81 at dawn, then be in Maggie Valley by noon or shortly after on Wednesday.

Just got mine tucked back in its normal garage spot. Just arrived home from my 5+ day ride to the Arkansas mountains and back. Led a group of three Honda CTX1300’s and an Indian Chieftain through three days of routes in the Ozarks. Got home today showing 2,487.5mi and 45.0hr for the 5-1/2 days. Now the Daytona is in dire need of a good cleaning. Maybe tomorrow …

Baldwin cat delete and second custom PV4 tune from BLR. Been waiting a long time for the RLS resonator bypass delete and am in the list but for $75 for the Baldwin at least I can get started. No baffle was used

I ended up using the baffle with no plug and it's sounds better to me. Without the baffle it sounded like an overpowered chain saw.

I have one of those that I had installed on my 2016 F3T. When I sold it I kept the cat delete for future use. But since then, I have really become accustomed to the normal sound. At first, the sound of the 2021 RTL was definitely too quiet (still is). But I would just like to try fitting the stock muffler from my 2016 F3L to the RTL and put something like the stock F3S muffler on my F3L. I am not 100% certain how the newer ones sound, but the earlier F3 and F3S bikes sounded just right to me. I am on my 6th spyder, and the newest one is definitely way quieter than the earlier ones.

I have the Baldwin cat delete and also the K&N filter on my F3. I was on the way home from NC last year and stopped at a gas station to fill up and take a break.

After I filled up I pulled off onto the parking lot and parked and an explorer followed me over to where I parked, he got out and said "man, that sounds real throaty, similar to a Harley. What did you do to get it to sound like that?"

I didn't know if it was a cop trying to bait me about the delete so I just told him that I was using the K&N filter. He quipped back and said that's funny my RT sounds nothing like that with the K&N. I then told him about the cat delete.

^^^^^^^^ This Akrapovic Sinister exhaust, with the cat stik in place, is the exact combination of sound, performance, and looks I was trying to achieve. I did it. To me it's absolutely perfect.
The Exhaust that comes with the 2022 F3S has a fairly short secondary silencer (exhaust can or pipe). After 14,000 miles, it was sounding quite a bit louder than it did in the beginning, but to me, something was just lacking in the sound dept.
After reading all of the reviews and testimonials of the delete pipe vendors, and listening to countless exhaust sound clips and videos, and also purchasing a delete pipe myself to test, I finally decided to get the Akrapovic. It's exactly what I was shooting for. It should come standard with the F3S.
It even comes with a certificate that states its Carb compliance (legal to install) and serial number, and country of manufacture. You can't go wrong, but the cost is ridiculous. I plan on keeping my F3S for as long as I can, so buy once, and cry once. In this case, I believe (for me) it's perfect.

Same philosophy that I had when getting the set of Wilbers shocks, I just set money aside and did the sway bar and tires first. Then bit the bullet with the Wilbers. I could go back and do an Ultra bar but I have other farkles in mind. Like a windshield I need to replace.

I can’t say I’m in love with the delete and the stock can sound, but the updated tune for the setup totally makes it worth it. It’s a different bike. Downshift at highway speeds and you are @100 pretty dam fast. The bike will never sound like my twin cams that I had on steroids.

Nope, it sure won't sound like your HD, but then, it is a totally different engine configuration, as you know.
I think the ACE 1330 with a delete pipe and stock can sounds pretty much like the Triumph Speed Triple with an aftermarket exhaust. It's a good sound, but a tad to loud for me. I was a Harley guy, and my bikes had to be black & chrome with drag pipes. Setting off car alarms was entertaining. Don't get me wrong, as I truly do think they sound great, it's just not me anymore. But I definitely get it.
I truly believe I'm done searching for the exhaust I envisioned my F3S would sound like. Of course, since yesterday we're having lots of rain and wind here in the North Coast.
Cheers!

All of you talking about putting on louder exhausts... meanwhile I'm "upgrading" back to the stock exhaust so I can hear myself think again 😂

"Loud pipes saves lives" may be true for some riders, but I tend to think that being able to hear other vehicles is safer than just having others hear me.

The Midwest weather has allowed me to put 4500 miles on in the last 7 weeks!

Ya that’s loud. The stock can with delete is not that bad.
