• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can the Passenger Back Rest on a 2025 S2S be moved forward a few inches? Not the whole trunk, just the backrest...

Good evening all,

Gave up looking for used Spyder Limiteds that still have BRP warranty and spent the day at my dealer going on Demo ride on a 2020 RT.

We have a 2025 Sea to Sky in the works that we are close to closing the deal on, but Mamma Bear asked a question that sales or service could not answer…

Don’t shoot the messenger but, is it possible to MOVE the rear passenger backrest forward a few inches? Not the whole rear trunk just the actual backrest...

I looked into the rear compartment and did not see a way to separate the backrest from the actual compartment, and the dealer wasn’t open to me taking it apart in the showroom for some reason ;)

Thanks for you input

Inside the top case there are two #20 torx screws on the front of the case on either side of the top case removal tool holder. After removing them you should be able to remove the passenger backrest. I'm not sure that you will be accomplish anything though. You may have better luck just adding a foam pad to the face of the backrest. Good luck.

Thank you very much, if the problem is there after a few hundred miles for Mamma Bear will dive deeper into it. Hopefully after passenger arm rests, it won’t be an issue.

Mama bear afraid of falling off? Those OEM arm rests with an OEM drivers backrest will keep her placed in there like a baby in a highchair!
