Welcome to Wednesday from Indiana. Calling for all-day rain today. As if we are short on rain. It is raining here right now. We could receive up to one inch of rain today.

Currently cloudy sky, raining and 68°F.
Indoor projects are on my schedule for this morning. This always makes my wife very happy. I really not sure why I just don't get the day off!!
Welcome to retirement my friend.

Today's high will be 76°F with rain showers.
Low at 60°F and some more rain.
I guess we need the water 💧.
Maybe we are going to have a
shortage on water this Summer.
Time will tell about the water deal.

Anyhow I hope you have a Sunny Day.
Be careful about what you drive though
when it comes to running water on the road. Don't be a statistic on the News.

Just wanted to say 'Thanks' for all who like to post up on this site. Yesterday was a very challenging experience.
The Doctor said I should be feeling better in a couple of days. I have a
common cold, not a virus or covid-19.
I sure am glad about that news.

Yesterday's rain was excessive, one and a half inches of water. Naturally I have a river running through my yard.

High of 70°F with rain.
Low at 59 and some rain.
Just wanted you to know.

Have a Blessed Day. (y)

Good Morning to you from the state of
Indiana. Currently a little cloudy at 61°F. Should be a warmer sunny day and dryer. No rain here till next month
(June). Speaking of June, it's just around the corner (4 days).

High of 82°F with sunshine.
Low at 53°F and sunny.

Get some Spyder Ryde Times.
Go for it and be Healthy.

Little Blue, your warnings about riding through water jogged a memory for me. 15 or so years ago I was riding with a group that rode together weekly. Almost all of them were on 3 wheels but I was still riding 2 (Goldwing). Going to lunch in a small town there was a dip in the road with a bit of slow running water left over from a prior rainstorm. All the trikes ahead of me crept through without a problem. I followed and my 2 wheels slowly sunk in the soft sand/muck bring me to a stop. Feet down with water ABOVE the top of my boots, I managed to walk the bike out. Afterwards, the guy ahead of me said he thought about warning me about the soft bottom in the middle but didn't. I endured squishy wet feet the rest of the day........

Today it's quite a bit cooler here in the desert. Currently: 83 degrees, mostly cloudy with high cirrus clouds, breeze at 3 MPH, and humidity at 29%. The high today will be 89 and the overnight low will be 63 degrees. Living in the desert, the comfort level is mostly determined by overnight temperatures. Having lower night temps gives us beautiful cooler mornings and good sleeping temperatures. No need for any AC activity until later in the afternoons. Stay safe..... Jim

Well here in Vermont, we are having a cool and unsettled stretch of weather, the most active weather of the period arrives Friday afternoon into Saturday morning. A strong system moves though Friday, bringing widespread showers and an isolated thunderstorm by afternoon, heavy rain overnight, and cold enough air aloft that the highest Adirondacks( in New York) summits could pick up a brief dusting to in an inch of snow!!!!.

Saturday starts wet before clearing nicely through the afternoon, and Sunday offers a decent day before showers return again Sunday evening. A persistent blocking pattern keeps the region unsettled through most of next week with rounds of showers, before the pattern finally begins to break down by Wednesday and a notably warmer and drier stretch arrives to close out the week.

Tonight temps in the low to mid 50's

Friday day time temps in the upper 60's. Lows in the low 40's.

Saturday, high temps in the upper 60's and lows in the upper upper 40's.

Sunday, temps in the upper 70's and lows in the 50's.

Monday, highs in the upper 60's and lows in the 40's.

Tuesday and beyond, they are watching the locked jet stream pattern gradually loosen its grip through the middle of next week, through the process is slow, this kind of setup is notoriously hard to time precisely , and model guidance continues to shift on the details. Tuesday brings partly sunny skies and high near 68 degrees, with scattered showers possible through the day as energy continues rotating through. Wednesday looks like the turning point-----mostly sunny skies return with highs near 69 as the upper level- pattern begins to shift.Thursday shapes up to be the nicest day of the extended period by a wide margin, with sunny skies and a high near 77 as warmer air finally builds in. Temps will be close to seasonal norms by the end of the week.

Currently it is cloudy, & 58 degrees.

It's a perfect Spring day here in the desert. Currently: 78 degrees. humidity at 28%, 5 MPH breeze, a (very) few puffy clouds in the distance. High today will be 85 and the overnight low will be 62. We need to enjoy this weather while it's here. It won't last. The monster (AC) that lives in my utility room and I are enjoying a break from the heat. By Monday we'll be back over 100 degrees. I suspect having sub 100 degree days are pretty much behind us for the season. Stay safe..... Jim

Today is the last comfortable day for the foreseeable future here in the desert. Tomorrow brings 100+ degree temperatures that look to last forever! Currently it's 84 degrees, humidity at 18%, >5 MPH breeze, and no clouds in sight. The high today will be 91 and the overnight low will be 66 degrees. I keep the temperatures for my desert dwelling set for a daytime maximum of 79 degrees and 74 during the night. Yesterday's power usage shows my AC came on 4 different times. One time each during the 3 and 5 o'clock PM hours. Then at 8 PM I have it scheduled to lower the temperature from 79 to 76. And again at 10 PM it lowers the temperature from 76 to 74. Over the years, I've found this system to be the best economically while giving me a comfortable living environment during the hot summers. My usage yesterday tells me I didn't need AC to maintain 79 until 3 PM and I didn't need any AC at all during the night to maintain 74 degrees. That usage will increase very soon. Stay safe..... Jim

Have you heard anything from
MotorcycleDave?

This thread was posted last year:

But the following post, made Dec 31, 2024, was his last post here, and while it may not be the last time he's looked at the Forum, it was the last time he actually logged on to the Forum:

However, IIRC, there gave been a few more recent references to him from members who have more recently spoken to him/purchased something from him. ;)

Weather here in my area of Wisconsin has been pretty good, high 80's, low 57° at night, been getting a ride in a couple of times a week, hoping for one today, only in the low 50's yet, I know that's riding weather for some of you on here, I like it closer to 70°, have an awesome day everyone, ride safe, lots of idiots out lately in my neck of the woods! I had a car pull right out in front of me a couple days ago, l knew they had seen me, looked right at me - needless to say, they got their butt chewed out, cause I just happened to be going to the same store they were... 😡

Well, the weather here in Vermont has been rainy and cold. Some of the mountains had snow at the very top.

The Northern parts of the area are getting thunderstorms this evening. Though they are weakening, a few of these storms may be capable of producing pea-sized hail, gusty winds, and heavy down pours. Otherwise, the showers will end tonight, except for in New Hampshire, where a few showers will linger into early Monday morning. It will be a chilly night, with lows in the low to mid 40's, though a few upper 30's are possible in the colder valleys. Monday will be a quieter and warmer day with partly sunny skies and just a few widely scattered light showers. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60's.

Then a welcomed warm up is on the way for the week. Tuesday will be partly sunny and pleasant with highs in the upper 60's to low 70's. Lows will be crisp in the 40's. It will feel more summer like on Wednesday and Thursday with plenty of sunshine and highs well into the 70's. Some low 80's are expected on Thursday.

Most of Friday will be dry, then a cold front is expected to bring showers and possible thunderstorms late in the day, with showers continuing overnight. Highs will be warm, in the 70's up to near 80 degrees. Morning showers on Saturday will give way to partly sunny skies. Sunday looks a little iffy, with the chance for a few showers or thunderstorms. Otherwise, it will remain warm with highs in the upper 70's to low 80's.

Here in the Northeast, we cannot catch our breath from the rain and cool, cold weather. During the daytime, the temps can be in the 70's one day, and then the next day, the temps will be in the 40's, and we go from wearing shorts to wearing long sleeve shirts.

It actually rained here in Utah on Friday, overnight.

Back up into the 80s here in the Salt Lake Valley, breaking the 90s by Saturday.

No more rain in sight to fill the the Great Salt (Puddle) Lake. Not a good snow year either. It’s going to be bad with lots of toxic sludge from the lake bottom becoming wind borne after 150 years of dumping chemicals into it as it was a “dead” lake.

I remember back in the 1980s when the lake flooded the Salt Palace to the second floor and flooded over parts of I-80. They even built giant pumps to pump the lake water into the West Desert. They were never used and the lake has drained down ever since. They even lifted all the sail boats out of the marina recently because there was no more water.

The buffalo herds on Antelope Island will be able to escape by summer’s end if it carries on like this. That’ll be fun I’m sure.

Well Folks that's the end of May 2026. I hope you enjoyed your Days of May.
Indiana weather was a real roller coaster ride with some snow, rain and heat.

Remember to Stay Hydrated for the summer and ryde times. It's your health so make it good 👍.
