• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder ride in Northern Vermont in all her glory today

The yellows are brilliant this year at 7,000 through 10,000 feet. Was up at Brighton yesterday and the colors were eye popping, yellows against the deep greens of the firs.

The reds however are dull, lackluster; brown and orange-ish at 6,000 to 9,000 feet. I think the extreme heat this year might have stressed them.

Weird. So it's the Alpine Loop tomorrow, which is up to 9,000 feet, so we shall see how it is slightly further South.

A strange season all round.

I believe that this will be a 'low show'
for most areas of the USA. Here in Indiana we have lots of stressed trees.
Due to the dry spell and all the hot days.
Most of my trees are dropping the leaves like crazy. 👍

Oh well, Everyone enjoy what you get.
Remember those years that were
a lot better. That's what the wife and I will do. Be Safe for sure. (y)

Those are beautiful. We are heading to the NC/Tenn mountains in 9 days and I am hoping to see some color in the 4500-6000' elevation. The color will not be as good due to the drought, but it still should be beautiful. I would actually like some rain a few days before we go so the falls will be flowing nicely.

Don't hold your breath, I don't think it's been cold enough yet! Been here for a week it's greener here than Maine, not much color at all, even in the hills! Brother-in-law said it doesn't start till the mid, last of month!

You are probably right. Last year we hit it at the perfect time for the hills bordering Maggie Valley to be at peak. We will probably have to ride up to Mt Mitchell or Graveyard Fields area along the BRP in order to see some color.

Well, enjoy your Trip. Maybe get some pictures and post them up. I would love to see some Fall Foliage Pics.
Be Safe and Stay Healthy. (y)
