• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I got a Drift HD170 Stealth for Christmas and have been anxious to use it. I don't ride my Spyder this time of year so I took it for a quick spin on the sled.

It is not professional my any stretch but I will get better the more I use it.

Wow!
:clap:Where'd you have that mouned? it seems to be pretty low to the ground which gave an incredible sensation of speed! How fast were you actually travelling?
There didn't appear to be much snow cover... :gaah: Is any more forecast for your area soon?

MXZ, great video but your going to have to hit the gas a little harder if you want to keep up with a cat. :roflblack: My lawn is totally green, so any snow cover is good snow cover now a days. Keep up the good work.

Ride on the snow

Great video of a snow mobile ride. Looks like you had fun. I don't do cold any more. Born in far north Minnesota, grew up on the east side of Michigan.

I lived in Niles in the early 80s. Saw all the snow I ever wanted to see. Your ride reminded me of why I moved to Florida. Looking forward to your first :spyder:video.

cool video, I thought there would be a front flip at the end, those ski doo's can do it, I saw it on the x games, levi Lavallee helped that kid out with it.

Yes it is iMovie. Nice program and easy to use.
Snowmobiling is a blast. I have more fun on a sled than anything I've ever been on, with the Spyder a close second.

The camera was mounted on the front lift bar, about the same height as the top of the A-arm. You can see it in the shadows sticking out the front. If I hit something the camera is toast. But at that point I won't be worrying about the camera.
Riding behind my house I was going between 25 and 60. Out on the road I was hitting speeds over 80.
That video was shot last Saturday, today the ground is bare, worst year ever. I don't think there is any snow in the forecast until December.

Maybe not as fast as a Cat but ski-doo's can do cat like tricks. See below.

Frisby's flip was awesome, I just happened to be watching when that was on. The other ski-doo didn't fair as well. Hoyer was lucky he just had a broken arm.
