• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How is a Spyder like a horse?

You can spend as much as you want on a saddle :banghead:
They need new shoes more often than should be reasonable:agree:
They like to throw you off if you ask them to take corners too fastnojoke
Can be temperamental for no apparent reason, especially the mares (a.k.a. Nanny):shemademe_smilie:

The cost of fuel is about the same:helpsmilie:

Some models are basic, some are flashy :ani29::f_spider::spyder2:
They tend to reflect the personality of their owners :firstplace::yes::dontknow::spyder::ohyea:

They like to be inside when it rains (or snows)
People always ask if they can pet them, ride them, stick their kids on them:barf:

Some are small and quick, some are big and comfortable:doorag:

The more you ride, the better you get:clap:

After awhile, you become one being…

A horse is much more Energy Efficient Vehicle;
It runs on Oats and Grass,
But a word of Caution!,

''Do not step in Exhaust''.:yikes:

Me Too!

I mount mine from the left.

Old habits die hard. I too mount mine from the left - always. I'll walk around it rather than get on from the right.

Now that would be a totally useless poll - "From which side to you mount your Spyder? Left, Right, from the back - like a vault! I'd love to see that!

I mount from either side (horses & spyder), although I always dismount horses from the opposite side from wich I mounted.

I mount from the right, too, but Nancy has to mount from the right with her replacement knee. I'm not going to try the vault...too hard on an RT! :roflblack:

Spyder won out over horse

As a lifelong lover/owner of horses....about age 65 I had to put my horse down...about 68 started the wonderful project called a bucket list...on mine I had a horse and a motorcycle/trike...I realllllly love my horses and other furry critters that own me...but when I started listing the pros and cons on horse vs. motorcycle/trike...the main decision maker was the inevitable time that comes when death enters. :sour: As strange as it sounds that is how motorcycle trike won out...if I got another horse I did not want to deal with losing another furry friend...Spyder dies!! heck call Len up and order another one with all the newest and latest :ohyea:....so now you know how my thought process works!!!! Scarrrrry ain't it!!!... and others own horses so I can periodically get my kickers on and get to smell all horsey and come home, pat Ms Spyder on the frunk and say yep definitely made the right choice....:yes:
