Decided after some reading on here to go with the Piggy Backer XL. It should be plenty big enough for our needs. Anyway order it on Sunday evening and had it in the back of my pick up on Thursday afternoon. Chris and it got together Friday and in about 3 hours got it assembled. Still need to do the alignment checks and get it licensed.
Talked to the dealer today and Spyder is ready except we're waiting on the wiring adapter. If you don't have brakes you don't need more than 4 wires to operate the light on any trailer I've ever come across. So as understand it BRP had 9 wire originally then 5 at some point and now in 2013 4 but in a square versus a flat connector. The lack of any kind of standardization in some industries is a never ending source of amazement, amusement and frustration.
On a lighter note for those of you who have the piggy backer and have added the suggested 3rd tail light can you point me to the source.
