Your Weather News @ June Edition 2026

All I can say about Mid America is Wow. I've never been there, but I had heard about this place. I am sure it was insured, but Cars like those are not replaced. It's such a terrible loss.

Most of us know what a tornado can do. I never had any damage from a tornado, but I have seen several the next day. It's not a pretty sight.

Tornadoes were happening in Indiana May and June this year. It's the season for this type of weather activity. Never stay in your house and always seek shelter. Some people now have special storm shelters to stay in during a tornado.

Sending Prayers to everyone who was affected by the Tornadoes in Illinois.

Monday morning here in Indiana. We are now officially in the season of Summer. (I know yesterday was the first day.)
How was your 'Father's Day' by the way?

My 'Day' was great and filled with lots of love. Thank You for asking.

Currently cloudy sky at 68°F. No rain scheduled for me. A Spyder Ryde Time is going to happen.

Today's high will be 70°F with clouds.
Low at 56°F. Good sleeping weather and no AC needed. That's a good thing for me.

Stay Healthy and Enjoy your Day. Go for your Spyder Ryde Time.

Never stay in your house?

I know what you/re trying to say but some of us have basements. Some of us have wives who make us go to the basement at the drop of a hat, just because.

So, no worries here! ;)

Yes, Yes, just that I do not have a basement. Thanks for sharing about the basement.

My wife is thinking about getting a Storm Shelter. They seem to be a little pricey. (y)

Morning Rain showers have arrived

11 AM and 100 degrees here in the desert. Humidity at 8%, Breeze at 3 MPH, and a few scattered cirrus clouds. The high today will be 108+ and the overnight low will be 80 degrees. No rain in the forecast. Today I'm packing for my summer road trip. Trying to get out of the desert tomorrow morning providing I don't have any hiccups. I'm liking my new laptop. It's a lot faster and doesn't freeze up like my old one did at times. I suspect the computer gods intentionally slowed down my old windows 10 to encourage me to upgrade. If so, it worked. Stay safe..... Jim

Good Morning and Welcome to my local area weather news from Indiana. Currently cloudy sky at 66°F and humidity at 96%. I was just outside and now I am wet. Summer is here to stay.

Today's high at 77°F with sunshine 🌞.
Low of 52°F with humidity.
I have not decided on a Spyder Ryde Time today.

Have a Blessed Day and enjoy your time. Till Next Time my Spyder Friends. (y)

Some friends in southern Indiana had Tornado(s) destroy about 100 acres of trees and corn. Luckily it didn't smash any buildings or their house.

Wednesday morning and it is a little cool here. Currently 51°F and mostly clear sky. Going to be a sunny and beautiful blue day. Should be a good Spyder Ryde Time today.

High today at 80°F with sunshine.
Low of 64°F. A very nice day.
Enjoy your Day and Stay Healthy.

Great Day to relax and enjoy some Spyder Ryde Time.

Here in the Salt Lake Valley all you can see is smoke hiding the mountains on both sides of the valley.

Six major fires burning. Going to be a long summer for the first responders.

They just saved the town of Eureka by a matter of a few yards in places.

Unsung hero’s our fire fighters.

I drove through Utah from South to North yesterday and today. That smoke was bad, real bad. I had planned to go North on SR 89, but was advised not to. Small towns on stand-by for evacuation and good possibility of the road closing. Diverted my course and flew North on I-15 (80 MPH limit) without issue. In Southern Idaho, it's still too hot for top down and there are lots of thunderstorms all around, but none got to me. I experienced heavy cross winds in Northern Arizona and Utah. I have made this trip many times on 2 and 3 wheels. Always planned an extra weather day or two. With the wind buffeting me, I reflected back on my bike riding days and was glad to be in my cage with AC... Interestingly, I saw a total of 3 motorcycles, no trikes or Spyders, going through the entire State of Utah. I'm sure there were lots of riders around the National Parks, but none on the Interstate. I should be settled into my summer rental by this weekend and will provide reports from there. Stay safe..... Jim

Thanks Jim for your 'Car Road Trip'.
I had heard about the fires. Glad you made it Safely. Smoke is bad and added to heat makes for a crazy mess.

Looking forward to your next post up.
Stay Healthy and Enjoy Your Time (y)

Thursday morning here in Indiana. No fires here so far. Always a good chance of a fire during the 'Fireworks Season'. Fires are a major issue any time of the year.

Currently cloudy sky at 68°F this morning. Humidity is at 79%. Sure makes the corn grow up. Most of the Indiana corn is already 'knee high'. So I am being told.

Today's high will be 79°F with clouds.
Low at 64°F and cloudy.
Possible chance of rain showers coming in the afternoon (54%).

Got a little more grass to cut. So that is on my schedule. Then I Spyder Ryde Time today. I hope you are doing well and staying healthy.
Till Next Time my Friend. (y)

Illinois has set the record for the number of tornados this season.

169 confirmed tornados in only 6 months! We lead the nation!

Normally we only have an average of 54 tornados, we're not done yet.

Utah is experiencing many huge fires this season with currently the largest two fires in the US burning at this time.

The governor has just banned fireworks for the 4th of July as we are in a critical fire risk phase and fire crews are being stretched to their limits.

They just saved the town of Eureka by a matter of a few yards. One ski resort has burned in the other fire.

High winds and 7% humidity is causing extreme problems.
