• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    My BajaRon Adjustable Shocks Impressions

@jpezzulli, are you talking about BajaRon's "JRI Shocks" or his "Shock Adjuster Kit"?

Does the plate carrying the rear brake caliper go inside or outside the swing arm?

The slotted end of the mounting plate slips onto a dowl pin on the inside of the swing arm.

Newly Bought 2010 Spyder RT for my father to enjoy his final years in life.

I'm sorry to hear that. I have a question: Which leg? I believe you need an SE auto trans.

Smoke from the Canadian Wildfires reaching Wisconsin - anyone/anywhere else in the lower 48?

It's hazy today in West Central Minnesota, and it's supposed to be worse tomorrow!

Apple Carplay - the good, the bad, and the really ugly

Good Luck with that! I truly doubt that a Quadlock phone mount is going to fix your problem. Your Spyder doesn't vibrate anything like a Harley.

Any thoughts on Ground clearance on the RTL?

Back to Ground Clearance, We added 3 sets of Baja Ron Shock Adjusters on our 2020+ RTL's last week. Very, very, very Happy with this mod improvement. We set all adjuster at mid setting (flush bottom) giving us a full inch more front end height. Took them out on one of our roughest blacktop...

Tire search - what is everyone going to these days?

You should have no problem on a 2020+ RT

Will there be enough room in a 6' x 10' Trailer to tie down an RT?

I hear ya, but most all Spyders have a width of approx 60+ inches wide!

Why is there a removable Rear fender tip on the Canyons?

On the back of a 2020+ RTs there is a bottom flexable approx 2" plastic flap that will move forward and back like a small attached mud flap. I believe it isn't designed to be removed because it would have to be cut off. Some owners have cut it off for personal preference. I want mine intact to...

Trying to pre-plan custom decals - anyone have these measurements for a 2024 RT Ltd?

You might check with "Wrap My Spyder" or buy a "Tape Measure"!

Check engine light - what to check?

Never "ASSUME" that the dealer did what it was suppose to do if you still have a problem! They may have replaced it with a cheap replacement battery! MHO, Good Luck, Bill

Anyone have problems with Tricled Peel & Stick Wide-Vu Mirrors?

"Ditto" 3 1/2 years No Problem! I did use a promoter stick before sticking the mirrors on.

Canyon Sitting on the Showroom Floor!

I believe he has to say that about the tires because he works for a BRP dealer, I'm sure he is smart enough to know the difference. Bill

Picked up my new 2025 F3 Limited Special

Enjoy that fresh GREEN Paint now, because it will never look that nice again! (unless BRP changed their paint tactics.) The paint on my 2020 RTL was so soft that it almost started to run when you stared at it! The honey bees and grasshoppers will stain the hell of it. There was NO sealcoat...

HELP! I threaded the transmission hex bolt! Will JB Weld help get it out?? What else might work?

I will NOT tell you that you can use that same brake linkage bolt! I will tell you that I used the SAME linkage bolt when I turned the bolt around on MY Spyder. I tightened the bolt so it won't fall out, NO torque wrench used. I do NOT want a LAW SUIT! Good Luck, Bill

HELP! I threaded the transmission hex bolt! Will JB Weld help get it out?? What else might work?

OK, I understand your problem. 1st, Get your Syder up in the air high enough to work under, approx 18"-24" 2nd, SECURE IT! So it can't move or roll 3rd, Turn that brake linkage BOLT around so the nut is on the opposite side 4th, Get a new top quality hex allen socket and tap it in with a hammer...

Is it necessary to disconnect/purge the auto levelling system when fitting an a/mkt shock?

The shock and any other suspension on my 2020RT has nothing to do with my trailer hitch when pulling a trailer. The air in my rear tire is the only suspension related to the hitch or the trailer being pulled, as I believe most all Spyders are the same set-up. MHO, Bill
