• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2025 Motorcycle of the Year

I've ridden my RT in most of the lower 48 in some very 'adventurous' places including 2 & 1 track 'paths', grass fields, mud, and loose gravel. I live near the Pine Barrens and every time I pass a fire road, I want to explore it but rarely make the effort because the RT traction SUCKS in sand on street tires. If I had no heirs and a bigger garage, I'd be a candidate for the Red Rock. My long distance touring is losing appeal so the comfort of the RT isn't as important as it was when I chose the RT in '20. Maybe a swap is in the future?

From what I can tell, the Canyon is destined to be a very short run. Its NOT selling.

After trying one, I understand why. Its a compromise and not really good at on road or off. Its also uncomfortable and a VERY high center of gravity. Much higher than even the RT.

I'm sure Rider knew the hornet's nest they were stirring up with that statement. I would guess that there are accusations of payment under the table from BRP, just for starters.
I recently bought both an RTL and a Canyon RR. I came from Adventure bikes. My first ride on a Spyder was the Canyon. After 100 miles, I couldn't believe it. Just outstanding. But the group I was riding with were all RT's. The next week I purchased the RTL, which I love, but I couldn't stop thinking about the Canyon RR. So a week later I bought that. I love both of these machines and I haven't ridden any of my motorcycles since (last couple months). My RTL is a '25 and it far exceeds my expectations, but I have been told that my next mods should be one of your sway bars and shocks. What should I expect with those mods? How will it ride differently? It already rides fantastic. But for those who are poo-poo'ing the Canyon, just take one for a ride. It really is an awesome bike.
