• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A Bit Chillly This Morning...

So I took my Spyder in to the Dealer's for some pre-SpyderFest servicing. As I left at 7:30 am; the thermometer was reading 27 degrees! :yikes: That's the coldest weather by far that I've taken it out in... I was prepared; a set of snowmobile bibs, and the inner liner in my TourMaster jacket. Other than my thumbs; I got there with a decent amount of feeling in all of my extremities. :D $114.24 later; and I'm back to the office and in here! ;)

How in the world did you get any kind of service for $114.24?? What did you get done that cheap? Our dealer here wants $245 just to change the oil and filters??

It must pay to be Bob. :2thumbs: :congrats: on getting that service done. Don't you love those frosty morning, early spring rydes? Your probably okay down to about 15 degrees before it becomes an exercise in toughness. I find that is about my comfort zone these days--no more riding in 10 below zero like I did in the good old days.

My guy charges $50.00 an hour for servicing... and I don't let him get anywhere NEAR a computer to see what others charge!! Klinger PowerSports in Walton, NY! (607)-865-6326... Talk to Aaron! :2thumbs:

I will be heading to Walton

I have been there bought a spare Key I think the 500 mile and the next two services at Dougs where above $300 I will be going there for my next service . It is about the same distance from Binghamton. Plus a real nice ride .:ohyea:

I went for a 60 mile ride in new Hampshire to a business vendor. It was about 40 degeres with 30 mile an hour gusts.. Gotta love it

Our next ride could end up taking us right by there. Looks like we will have to stop in. I need to get a second key too.

Fran is the guy at the parts counter... If you want to talk to Aaron about servicing a bike; please give him my best! :2thumbs: He's always done a great job with my bike! :firstplace:

Burrrrr!!

Been there and done that when I lived in Texas and rode to work. Still can't get the wind chill factor at 65 mph's on the freeway... :roflblack:

It did have my undivided attention... This was by far, the coldest weather I had ridden in...I even had a very light coating of snow on the roads from overnight flurries... :yikes:

I rode this morning it was about 30 degrees. 12 miles (20 minutes) and 6 frozen fingers later I arrived at work.

I think I was close to frostbite- yeesh my (2 pairs) gloves did not do a very good job for me!

Serves me for trying to look CUTE when I got to work after ryding a Can am in.

Rode in to work at 25 degrees this AM. Gotta Love the heated grips and seats! The ride home will be more enjoyable as temps should be in the upper 50s (according to the weather guessers that is)

I rode my Spyder to work this morning also. 34F and raining. Should be an nice ride home in the rain again this afternoon.
