So I was checking around at different BRC safety classes, see if anyone of the unofficial ones would include a Spyder into their class for educational purposes. This is because the only 3 wheel course in the area is non-existent till sometime next year. I figured at worse they'd say no, and at best, they'd say "Sure but we can't give you a cert..."
I got a response from one today. They're answer? read the can-am manual. I jest you not. "The Can Am Spider Owners Manual should have or did have at one time information that is similar to 3WBRC that will be helpful."
Read the manual? Really? I mean, sure, there's alot of great information about the handling of a Spyder in the manual, but it's no replacement for a safety course! Funny thing? One of his instructors lives next door to me and suggested I contact them directly. Ooops!
