i installed o2 sensor and hi flow air filter today and WOW
throttle response is sooooooooooooooo much better with no hesitation or hiccups. my hindle now have deeper powerful rumble and none of that dry-heaving sounds it used to make and running cooler too.
i took the baffles off of airbox as suggested so its just a big rectangular opening and yes there is noticeable howling air intake noise at full throttle or 3/4 of throttle but i think it adds character to spyder:2thumbs:
of course it would be a personal preference as some may not like noise but i dont mind it at all for better performance. i was just gonna get o2 sensor but it made sense that i should do something about restrictive intake as i did for exhaust with hindle.
i dont know if i will get better mpg also but will report if i do.
one thing bothers me is when i opened the airbox there was quite a of dirt and grease/oil and also grease/oil on filter too.
anybody in market for air filter with 6300 miles on it?
