• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

do they need to be replaced

Hey you got a HEMI in that thing!!!:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Sorry I just could not resist. :joke:

If you click on his picutres link; they show you the link htat connects the Anti-SwayBar to the A-arms. The 2013 bikes gat hit with a bad batch of those that would break...
IF your Heim joints, (Tie-rods, end-links... whatever you call them...), has a "4" and I believe, no dot on the, BRP will get you a new set...

Is this on all models?

Can this be seen without removing panels?

I just bought a '13, but it was assembled in April so it could possibly have this.

Yup! Any of the 2013s...
You kind of have to crawl up under the bike, and take a good look at them to see if they out of the suspected batch...
Or.... Just order up a set of BajaRon's links and you'll have the best ones that are available!

BajaRon...
He sells all sorts of good stuff for Spyders
Spark plug wires (A must-have!)
Anti-SwayBars (Another Must-have...)
The aforementioned Heim links (Yup!)

plus: spark plugs, oil, oil filters, helmets, jackets, raingear... (I know that I'm missing a bunch of them!)
He's the guy that you need to start having your paycheck forwarded to! :D

Lol, not to run the thread off track, but how much difference can spark plug wires make...are factory wires that bad?

In the car biz, wires don't make any difference unless you are upgrading the whole spark system.

Ron could tell you the exact reasons for it; but the OEM wires just don't seem to hold up very well...
If you're going to be checking your plugs; you're liable to bugger up the wire ends just by trying to remove them during this operation..

Yup!
If you look around a littl beit; he's posted a lot of information in here about the differences between the OEMs, and his plugwires.
But you only really need to see them side by side once, to know what you should do... :2thumbs:

i had the sway bar changed when the bike was being put together so i don't know the difference there but the elka shocks made some difference in the bike with the first long ride i did today now the bike goes in monday for new ball joints and alignment but as soon as i get the bike back i am going to travel the hour and a half to the closest dealer that does the laser alignment and have that done . but the shocks made a really big difference over the stock ones
