• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Took a little ride with the wife today. I'll post more on that later but here's 7 min. of the 30 min. video I shot. Here's a little better quality one.

:2thumbs: Nice video and looks to be a great camera. I'm surprised how steady the trailer is. Nice looking countryside you have there Lamont. Just waiting for you to tell us Christine is driving the RS :2thumbs:

Great spot to mount the camera! Perfect perspective. So glad to see that your wife is still riding with you. She looks right at home there.:thumbup::thumbup:

I was blown away at how much it showed considering where it was mounted. This thing rocks. :2thumbs:

All I have to say is "Is that your driveway at the beginning?" WOW!!
Yea, it's a 1/2 mile long and I had to pave it when I first moved here. It needs it again but I'm short the 30K I need to do it right so I'll just keep patching it when I get a chance. :(

:2thumbs:

I amy have to look into getting one of those pretty soon, that shot some really great video from where it was mounted.

One question though, in the video it appears that your LED Mud Flap lights are flashing all the time. Is that a true view of what is happening, or just something with the camera angle and lighting?

I'll let Magic Man splane dat to you. :D
Short answer is no I don't see it doing that and neither does anyone else.

Nice Lamont!

Yup, I love my GoPro!

The helmet mounted perspective is kewl too.

I have a mount on the front of the RT now so the wife can follow me thru the twisties while I am on my vintage crotch rockets!! :joke:

(actually she does a pretty good job of it)

Mad Matt :D

Thanks! It is probably something like the flicker effect when you take a video of a computer monitor or tv screen then.

I had no idea the camera would come with so many different mounting options as well. Did you go with the motorsports kit, or a different one?

GoPro HD

Hi,

I was going to order the GoPro HD today.

Did you find a 12v charger? I cannot see one on the GoPro web site.

There is one in the catalog, but nowhere can I find one to order online.

GoPro says up to three days to respond to an e-mail!
