• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Good Price?

I would think so assuming the VIN checks all the maintenance calls, you could take it (The VIN) to a BRP shop and they could tell you. I would also assume that it is pretty well a stock bike. I gave 15 for mine in October (a 2009 GS) and it had a _lot_ of optional gear on it, so I would think dropping 3500 for those options would be reasonable. But I am FAR from an expert around here :)

If he took it in trade his selling price is most likely a mark up over what he gave for a trade-in allowance, rather than a reflection of some Blue Book value.

Late this Summer i traded in my 08 GS Sm5, [19,000 miles] the only add on's were risers, And i got 9 thousand$ So it sounds like a good price, :dontknow:

Purchased my 09 Phantom LE with 10000 miles on it in August of this year for $12400. It had several upgrades on it already (corbin seat and backrest, hindle, ISCI passenger foot boards, Kury grips, bigger windshield, Tric LEDS) Purchased it here in central Texas. Hope this helps.

A local BMW dealer has a 2009 RS-SE5 w/14K miles. Looks okay. He is asking $11,500. Good price?

:spyder2:

Looks like you already have an RT???

Offer 10,500 and see if he accepts or counters... then buy! I'm pretty sure they will counter with 11,300 and then you can close at 11.
