• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone tried or has anyone wrapped the exhaust pipe from before the muffler back under the body to the engine?
My right heal was 'bout to burst into flames the other day. I was gonna try to wrap it with header manifold wrap to
see of it cuts down on the heat. Opinion please....

I added the SpyderPops kits (all 3 kits) to my wife's '08 GS & it resolved the right side heat problem completely. Give them a shout. They're a SpyderLovers site sponsor.

I have both of my header pipes wrapped on my 2009 GS. The front one is not so bad to do, but you need to watch out for the sharp metal pieces sticking off the oil cooler grill. The rear one is a royal pain, unless you have some pretty small hands. Mine are wrapped from the cylinder head to the Y gasket junction.

It does help with the heat some, I can actually touch the back of my hand on the pipe while the Spyder is running and not get burned. I wouldn't leave it there for very long, but it is good to know it will not instantly blister you.

Which three, may I ask? I had their website up earlier, and plan on calling my dealership (to see if they can install). The ones on the website that I was interested is were the Air Mgmt System, the heat shield and the missing air dam. Are those the three you purchased? Last Thursday I thought my right foot was going to fall off. Tomorrow is a casual day (get to wear jeans), so I wanted to ride to work (35 miles). It's supposed to be 100 degrees by the time I ride home.
