There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Is there a deflector to deflect heat from the engine away from the legs - F3-S

Hello everyone,
I am new to the community and to the Spyder. I have had it a full day now. I do have a question, which is can someone help or point me in the direction - Yes, I've tried the search, but does anyone make a deflector for the Spyder the deflects the radiator heat away from the legs? 2015 F3-S.

Thanks

The F3 already blows the heat out to the sides, instead of back towards the rider like the other models.
The only time I notice much heat is when first starting out after sitting still for a while.
If the fans are on, I feel the heat for a few seconds, but once up to speed the ambient air dilutes the hot stuff.

The most effective thing I did was deleting the cat. It does run very hot, and that heat comes straight up under the rider.

Ride with long pants. And boots or shoes with socks. The coolant temp is close to 200F: when that air through the radiator hits directly against bare skin, it's scorching. Removing the Primary Muffler, a.k.a. the Cat, wont change the heat from the front of the machine while moving. It does remove weight and heat wafting up from the PM while at rest. Once the machine starts moving, the air current will move the PM heat out the back.
