• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Micro-Start PPS (Emergency Battery) Test Results

Delayed

I ordered my XP3 last week, directly from Anti-Gravity. I got an order confirmation but did not get shipping notice, so I fired off an email to find out what's up. They promptly replied saying they are out of stock and are waiting for a part to make more. They will likely ship next week.

Wouldn't you know it! You hooligans beat me to it and cleaned them out!:roflblack::roflblack:

You can purchase ones on e bay uk from about £45 - £60 Not the same make but ones manufactured by FLOUREON - Multi-Function Car Jump Starter Battery Charger Power Bank New

These are manufactured in China and may well be the same but badged as Anti-Gravity for the USA Market

Re this statement from Anti-Gravity - Our regular Antigravity Batteries are made in the USA, but the Micro-Start was made overseas. We had to because no one in the USA could help us with the circuit board and battery cells we needed to make it function as intended.”

 Cheers Eddie! They have them on Amazon as well.
The point I was trying to make was that the AntiGravity branded ones were twice the price in the UK! ( If you buy from a retailer.)

Micro Start report

Some co-workers had doubts about the micro start being able to work due to the small size. I have the micro gravity xp1 and we decided to put it to the test. We unhooked the battery on a Toyoda Tacoma V-6 and a Nissan Altima 2.5 four. (the Nissan was mine). We started the Tacoma 11 times and didn't want to damage the starter so we went to the Altima and proceeded to start it 8 times (like i said, it is mine so didn't take any chances with the starter ). I am sold on it. It was still showing 3 lights out of five on the charge indicator. My co workers couldn't believe it. I can't say anything about the other brands, I've looked at some on the net and have no comment on those. I can say the Anti Gravity Micro Start is very well made and has a feel of quality to it. I highly recommend it.

Thanks for your input, i agree and the XP-3 is basically the same battery but with different outputs on it ( it does not have a laptop port).

Got it! Antigravity Batteries Micro-Start PPS XP-1

Just received my Antigravity Batteries Micro-Start PPS XP-1 Multi-Function Jump Starter / Personal Power Supply (purchased it from Amazon.com). Wow, it looks great and mostly charged when I received it. Fully charged now. IF it works as good as it looks, it will be great! I like how small it is and will be handy to move from vehicle to vehicle when we travel on trips.

Based on the reviews on this forum and other sources, looks like a "winner" :firstplace:. Another item for "piece of mind" when travelling.....:2thumbs:

Could have used this.

Rode the bike to work this morning around 45 degrees. Got back on the bike went about a mile parked came back out and no start.
Had to jump the bike off from a friends truck. Could have used xp1 or like item. This is on my short list to BUY.:opps:

Sorry to hear you ended up with a dead battery.....I haven't used it yet, but it will be with me "just in case"! Read the reviews ...it looks like a winner! Good luck:thumbup:

I have purchased one of these and haven't tried it on a spyder or car yet. But I was curious on how long the battery will last just sitting in the back trunk before needing a recharge????

Check your instructions that came with the unit....I believe it said 6 months before it needs to be recharged!

REVIEW

The latest issue (May) of "Motorcycle Consumer News" has a very favorable review of this device. You'll see it on the back cover as the Innovation of the Month.

I bought mine TODAY at Pit Bull even before I registered for Spyderfest. Not once but twice in the last two days I had to have a jump, thanks to the great folks with SPYDERTV. Don't you know it, got to the hotel, unhooked the trailer and took my bags to the room. Two hours later wanted to move the Spyder and darn thing would not start again (2013 RT) hooked up the XP-1 Micro-Start and it started without hesitation right out of the box. Guess a new battery is my first purchase for tomorrow.
